I believe in choosing the unwalked paths instead of paved roads.
I believe in the free expression of the self through creativity to give a perspective, so that people can appreciate what results from authenticity.
Do you wonder where all this started? If you really want to know about authenticity, read this, do not skim it.
In May 2017, a man hung himself up in a Detroit hotel room.
‘... I’m sorry you were alone, and I know that was not you, my sweet Christopher’ - the speaker read. Right after, the radio played Audioslave’s Be yourself.
It was an ordinary morning with the ordinary light and the same ordinary pieces of furniture around me.
Except I wasn’t the ordinary me.
I used to spend entire weeks alone in bed. The gravity hit my body ten times more than the average.
Every morning though, I used to turn on the radio.
I was impervious to voices, yet those voices in the background made me feel like I was not alone.
That day I left the bed.
That day I started to draw and create again.
That day I stopped holding myself back.
